Good news for the boozers from the Telangana government in previous the bars and restaurants can provide the alcohol till 10:30pm only but now the time is extended to 1am on weekends firday and Saturday.
On the other hand government made a decision for increasing the drinking hours upto 11pm actually their is a demand for extending the drinking hours in bars and restaurants till 3 am however the government of Telangana dicided not to increase beyond the 1am and given permission upto 1am only.
Overall there are 400 bars and restaurants in GHMC extended drinking hours make a good revenue to this department service.
